If Hamas wanted peace or to protect the lives of Palestinians, they could have returned the hostages at any time. They refused because they are not interested in peace or the lives of Palestinians. We know this because since the truce Hamas has been executing dozens of Palestinians in the streets.

Yahya Sinwar was a mastermind of the Oct 7 massacre. He was released from an Israeli prison in a similar exchange. Setting free thousands of criminals and terrorists for the return of innocent hostages is not reasonable & is extremely dangerous as we know from the results of having released Sinwar.

Agreed on Bibi, Trump and Putin but no, Hamas was not willing to release the prisoners. Hamas is a terrorist death cult. You can display your anger at the 3 above without becoming an Hamas supporter. The Palestinian people deserve a life free from Hamas.

Is it fair to conclude it’s just about the pandemic shut down, as the headline suggests? Are their not possibly other contributing causes perhaps even contributing more strongly than the shutdown?

I looked a few up that seemed particularly bad. Don’t take my word for it, just look it up for yourself. Again, my point is he said plenty of truly awful stuff and we should stick to pointing out what we can verify is true. I dont think you intended to share anything that isn’t true.

You’re choosing to define political violence by target and setting where I think it’s fair to say many, if not most, define it by motive. You might disagree but clearly it’s a reasonable stance. So why respond with such hostility? Why are people so comfortable being nasty online?

Is it political violence if someone is looking to kill a politician regardless of their political party or views? Crooks target list included Merrick Garland, Christopher Wray & the Princess of Wales. Not politicians. Hard to say why he chose these people but politics doesn’t appear to be it.

How’s “globalize the intifada” for starters? Or the day after Hamas terrorists killed 1200 & took 251 captive, Mamdani puts out his response by attacking the Israeli gov’t. There’s plenty to go after the Israeli gov’t on but choosing to do it Oct 8th 2023, that speaks volumes about who Mamdani is.

But I did say what Netanyahu is doing is a war crime. I said it before and I’ll say it again. Put him in jail. I also point out that what Hamas did and is doing is criminal. Why do you refuse to call out Hamas or care for the lives of murdered and kidnapped Jews?

I’ve been condemning Netanyahu for a couple of decades. But you still haven’t shown any concern for the hostages or outrage at Hamas. Why is that?

I agree with the hatred for what Netanyahu is doing, which is or at least should be criminal. But why in all these comments is there no call for Hamas to release the hostages? Isn’t that also a terrible crime?
