It definitely feels like impeachment will result in more facts for the public and simultaneously harden the other side's stance that anything that comes out is fake. I think it will at best be a waste of time and at worst result in lengthening trump or trump like candidates being in power.

I see what you are saying. Personally I think the media are kind to shanahan because the 49ers give more access to people who are kind. Also he has been great for the most part so there is not too much bad to say.

I may not be understanding your point but I would point out that basically all contentious situations with the 49ers are money related which would be more front office than Shanahan.
