Juggling scarves weigh nothing,
so I bring them along even w/o kids

My copies “shipped yesterday”

I’m especially looking forward to
how you weave all the 🤩 snippets
into the storyline, that it will be even
>>> the sum of its parts (as are you)

True, in every path of life.
AI can even take away the ability of trained, experienced doctors to diagnose:
Here is a non-paywalled article about the Lancet study. As if I needed another reason to be furious about AI…

Perfectly proving your point,
that it’s all about the journey

Alt-text revealed the subtle “?”
can be more clear in final version

The idea/message/font are yours,
the spirit is a bit Grant Snyder,
but he doesn’t own it; kinda like making your own The Far Side gag

my statement on Ai from the mini-comic I'm making as syllabus for a new class I'm teaching this fall. It's simple, but I pretty much said all I have to say on it - it robs you of decisions and struggle - and the joy of being surprised. It robs you of learning...

Silly Laura replied to self:

I’m having fun with this,
not meaning to be picky,
just wondered

Do you want the learner’s path to end at the B or maybe a different B’?

The wavy part in the beginning to suggest a human face in profile?

Your sketch, punintended, is iconic

Yeah, so concisely:
Anything that … robs you
(I’m concerned for 2x negative)

Also, what if the starburst at the end was more like fireworks, representing the joyous feeling of a brain being tickled?
I read it with an NPR accent:
“for THIS… is learning.”

& it’s already 👍

Without robbing you?
Or
Anything that does this for you?

Thanks

Why isn’t there yet
an early school drop off
for kids to run around safely
before sitting for hours?

(too late for me,
just imagining the difference
of an alternative universe)

I can’t generalize,
but Boo would sooner starve or eat garbage than taste dog food;
we have to add crumbled dehydrated chicken treats,
AKA “flavor burst,”
for him to empty the bowl

There are two wolves inside him
& the smart one controls us

That’s why I write
(especially d/c plan)
w/abundant ‘negative’ space

Average intelligence
being average,
it helps most people
to have empty space
around each clause
to stop & identify
the part that tripped them

This has alternatively
been confused for poetry
and called annoying
(coincidence?)

My friends are self-selecting:
must laugh at the right times,
not just smile politely

…apparently not universal!
Some people maneuver
with social skills,
I resonate w/a few 🤩 people
& “that’s okay too*”
