NEO GEO Super Pocket arrived!
It’s my second SuPo; first being Taito, back in ‘23. Looks great & D-pad feels more capable of diagonals than my Taito one. Will be testing lots of @evercade.co.uk carts to find out. Once I try all the built-in games first!

This is so true. I’ve been gaming since I was 8 (early 1980’s) and it’s been a welcome respite for me ever since.
As a 50 year old, videogames are a big part of ensuring I’m okay mentally. And there’s no shame in that.

There's absolutely ZERO shame in considering gaming as your safe space.
So many of us had struggles in childhood and video games filled a void we needed. They can still be another safety net in our adulthood too.
Life's hard, so don't ever abandon what brings you happiness.

Er, no. I may have outgrown Lynx usage by about 35 years but I still baulk at paying more than £3 for deodorant!
