I’m a husband, father, educator, theatre artist, and union leader.
Very encouraged by this article. It’s time to invest in working people in CT. We need new leadership in Hartford.
A 2-1 split in favor of a third term for Lamont flips with a prompt that states he is “out of step with where CT needs to go in the future.”

Very well said!
You may have heard that Joe Courtney has a Democratic challenger in next year's upcoming election.

If you or someone you know is in CD2, here are some things we here at the shop have learned:

This shift over the past few years to make online communities I cared about less accessible just seemed so intentional. And I guess it worked. Maybe that’s the lesson to be learned? Don’t use tools controlled by powers aligned against your values. The tools can be used against you.

One of the things I miss about previous social media accounts is some of the people I used to follow. Over this past year, through an insta account, I’ve come to discover how much I love Japanese print art. I’m still learning, but I seem to be most affected by late 1800s-1900s in particular.

Just getting started here. So far, things seem relatively sane. Cautiously optimistic…
