Utah wins out and they have a path to the CFP. There are several guaranteed losses in front of them still.

Maybe I’m too simplistic here but what if the P4 conferences were forced in to a 10-game league schedule with at least one G6 (or higher) non-conference game?

Having only watch a couple of the TNT CFB broadcasts, I really like the product they put out and hope they are able to gain more traction over the next couple of years.

No Texas Tech lens here. Just going off your projected standings. If you have Tech and BYU in the top 10 with Utah on the fringe, there are still guaranteed losses to those above Utah which will allow them to slide into the top 9-12 over the next month if the win out.

In this scenario, Utah’s only 2 losses will be to top 15 teams… ND will have a worse loss and less quality wins and OU will have 3 losses while Texas will have 3 or 4. It’s a long shot for sure but if they are close to 12th in the first poll and win out, they will be in.
