Growing up in a bible-based cult, I saw that a lot. Religion is not an excuse for abuse.

I don't even know what planet I'm from anymore, but I don't think I should be here. Has to be some mixup. Hopefully, some supreme judges can persuade the alien leader to come back and take me home cause this planet kinda sucks.

I can't imagine what silence would be like. On the monolog, meditation was key to understanding some of those voices weren't mine but abusive people from my past. Meditation helped to be able to identify and name them. On the music, my father had it too. May it never end!

Other than improve the tech and make more money? I doubt there is anything more.

Personally, I'm working on an offline project for my own use, and I'm sure others have plans that differ.

I think ai is just a tool. My hope is that the benefits outweigh the harm caused by any abusive use of it.

In nature, evolution teaches both prey & predator to camouflage in a hostile environment. Society teaches the same.

Speaking for myself, my brain visualizes "masking" as more of a masquerade party thing. I avoid parties because [stress]. I personally prefer "camouflage," but I do see it both ways.

Or from family, friends, religious/cult upbringing... Lot's of "WTH, that ain't even me!" moments.

Sometimes, it's assembly. Sometimes it's assimilation. Most times, it's just me trying to figure out which one I need to do before I can figure out how to start the day.

I think cognitive dissonance can present a challenge that some people just aren't up to facing without proper help. Doubling-down seems to require less mental capacity, independent thought, self-reflection, and emotional processing. Cults suck.

'Cause sometimes, it's just easier.
