They're using low-quality donors. That's why you're left with IBS.

Safe & effective donors will likely never be available because too few people are informed & motivated. See: forum.humanmicrobiome.info/threads/the-...

It's a donor quality issue. Why is everyone ignoring donor quality? forum.humanmicrobiome.info/threads/va-t...

That's interesting. I also came to that conclusion many years ago. Eg: maximiliankohler.blogspot.com/2020/08/why-...

So, will you do something about it? forum.humanmicrobiome.info/threads/the-...

Yes, many FMT studies show no benefit, or even harm to patients. There are major donor-quality issues with most FMT studies: forum.humanmicrobiome.info/threads/the-...

That doesn't make the premise false. There's a huge body of evidence (linked previously) in support.
The FDA and FMT regulation, part 2. (Jul 2024, HumanMicrobes.org) I met with the FDA. Here's what I shared with them, and their response.

This is a lie that ignores all the evidence I shared in the previous comment.

Where do you live?

What FMT theories were discredited?

Yeah, but I'm not popular :(

Do you recall where he acknowledged the potential of FMT?
May 22, 2025 at 7:52 PM
So RFK never mentioned FMT?
May 21, 2025 at 11:57 PM
Your comment implied that RFK is recommending fecal microbiota transplants. I asked where you saw that.

Where did they mention FMT?

My thoughts weren't that it would occupy a niche, but rather consume the mucosa, which could then be rebuilt with healthier microbes. "Completely degrades mucin glycans" was what interested me. Here's a forum thread on it: forum.humanmicrobiome.info/threads/muco...
Mucosal microbiota transplant, clearing the gut mucosa prior to FMT
I posted about this a few years ago elsewhere [1][2][3] and I'm copying all the info here for easy discussion. "While fecal microbiota is partially normalized by extended co-housing, mucosal communi...

Do you think this could be used to clear the gut mucosa prior to FMT to enhance the effect of FMT? My initial thought is that it wouldn't work fast enough, but perhaps the patient could take this probiotic mix daily for some weeks prior to FMT. Maybe along with a special diet.

It does not need to be messy or disgusting. And the logistics could be greatly simplified and improved if the FDA/NIH/HHS would allow/help a project like humanmicrobes.org to exist.

You can and should help. More info: forum.humanmicrobiome.info/threads/the-...
