I’m sad to learn that KALX legend Mike Rizzi aka Mike Burma has passed away. Great dude and the coolest old head you could possibly imagine. Really enjoyed volunteering with and learning from him at the station. kalx.berkeley.edu/sad-news-at-...

I’m sad to learn that KALX legend Mike Rizzi aka Mike Burma has passed away. Great dude and the coolest old head you could possibly imagine. Really enjoyed volunteering with and learning from him at the station. kalx.berkeley.edu/sad-news-at-...

Sad to hear that Mike McGuirk has passed. I only met him in passing but really loved reading his writing in the SF Bay Guardian. Here’s a great piece he did about the Stonehouse-Dwyer era of the Hospitals - it’s funny and captures the personalities involved so well web.archive.org/web/20050424...
