I stood in front of a mirror today in a department store and had no reflection. I was surprised at how blasé I was about it. Just shrugged. Of course the mirror was being replaced so I was really just staring through a large metal frame.

In the end this was not actually a very interesting story.

I am looking forward to purifying our misfit ways, and magnifying our crystal days.

I'm at the 'I just put a half bag of Sun Chips in the microwave for no reason' level of fatigue. Managed not to hit the start button tho.

I can have a little Buffy during the onset of Fascism as a treat.

I definitely did not cry when the Sunnydale seniors gave Buffy the 'Class Protector' award at Prom and then Angel showed up in a tux and then The Sundays play...

The hopeless teens in this episode of 'Buffy' are calling vampires 'The Lonely Ones,' and the way things are going this may lead to a song (God help me.)

I wish you all the confidence of Chuck E. Cheese, whose middle initial stands for 'entertainment.'

I literally just had a moment of jealously seeing that Paddington was going to Peru and I haven't left the country since 2015.

I love this Lou Reed quote from '67 as a kind of anti-thesis to Leonard Cohen's famous line 'There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in.'

It's classic Reed nihilism and half-nonsense, but having to drag yourself out of a dark hole— Reed understands— is a form of grace in itself.

A bit of how we opened last Saturday's show at MAIN DRAG MUSIC. Welcome to your life. There's no turning back.

There are no reunions in the wasteland. You can only mutate and fall apart. And fight...

Will there also be singing?
Yes, there will also be singing.
About the dark times' — B.B.

The greatest artists are those whose work made you strive, stretch and reach beyond. While they themselves stood beside you, amongst you.

We've had many engimas, but few maestros. Generous teachers who understood their place in Universe. Who helped us find ours.

RIP David Lynch.

The world, shimmering.
Nope, sorry it's trembling.
Cold pizza it is.

I am trying to post nice and pleasant and demure things here cuz that seems to be the vibe, but I'm really more comfortable posting depressed haikus and non-sequiturs about pizza like I did on twitter in 2014.

I visited my old hometown mall today and was pleased to see that instead of falling into liminal disuse and decay, it was doing ok— mainly by catering to the large Asian population at nearby Stony Brook University. Some amazing looking shops, restaurants and bubble tea.
