The alt text should mention that said woman has a broad smile that proclaims "I'm happy because I'm exactly where I want to be"!

Not iRonic, iConic... Thank you for doing that.

Pete Seeger (among many others) sang that "all my life's a circle..." Never forget, folk singers are (often) very wise.

And if you hate bugs, you gotta conserve birds!

That's my inclination too so I'll keep doing it.

I got one for my cat! He loves the salmon and dried seaweed treats.

As I interact more with you you'll come to the realization that I'm slower than most other folk.

I was already going through so many memories as I used to run a BBS on an S100 machine in the early 80s. I'll have to look at what the Eurocard bus was like.

Was that an S100 based system?

Their tails are odd, like they'd been truncated at some point. They are pretty though.

I'm like you in this regard, my partner is constantly teasing me about missing birds because I'm looking for stuff on the ground. We've had a big population decline around here, when I first moved to my home in the Oregon coastal range the frogs were deafening at night, now, not so much :-(.

I'm a little bit envious, they're lovely. The wise-ass in me wants to point out that the bird-voiced treefrog is hard to find because you're obviously primarily looking for frogs on leaves on the ground :-).

Nice, I have to work on these. Enjoy Paris! Please post other European birds you find. When I was in Italy I found the Hooded Crow to be a particularly playful bird, I think they are all over France as well.

Where are you doing this Jeffrey? I don't even have 6 jays overall and I love jays. On a good day I'll get Stellers & California Scrub Jays, on a great day I'll add the Canada Jay. If I'm away from home and I'm supper lucky I'll get a couple of Magpies (love me some Magpie).

Some day I'll remember the #birds tag.
