As for Falter, I think this is a game where you just go "fuck it, we need an inning from any reliever coming in, no matter what." And the guy has to be ready for that opportunity.

The 2025 Royals are who and what they are. The situation they're in is because of a lot of reasons, and for better or for worse there's nothing that can be done about it. The time for trading and firing has come and gone. Change will happen in the winter, but until then, season's still going.

I think I'm more excited about the Royals right now than I ever have been outside of the playoffs last year. I just feel so good and confident in the team, it's unbelievable.
