I didn't say autoimmune meant genetic, but diabetes is not something one can typically catch (yes, diet and lifestyle can bring about Type 2), but yes, it is semantics as the point was that diabetes sometimes just IS.

If it's an autoimmune disease that still means that whomever has it didn't necessarily do anything to cause the affliction, which was my point.

This is insane. Type I diabetes is genetic. That's like only favoring people with low levels of melanin, and the 🍊💩 would never do that, right?
