plug your presets back in. Really, whatever power amp you're using is going to probably be the failure point, but again, swap it out and you're good.

I don't gig regularly any longer, but I still use a Line 6 Flextone III that is at least 20 years old. In that time for a tube amp, that's a few sets of tubes and probably a replacement of all the electrolytics. The modeling parts of the "amp" should be reliable, but if it's not get a new one and...

I think for a lot of them is economics; if you're paying for the tour (and with the exception of HUGE acts, they are) the less stuff you have to pay someone to move or move yourself, obviously the better. I'd also bet 999 of 1000 people at a show can't discern the difference at volume.

Thinking it actually makes any difference to the end experience is a take, for sure. Past 140db, you're not picking an AC30 from a JTM45, from a Showman.
