Trying to write more. If only I could stick to one project. I'm putting the sci-fi novel on hold while I try to get a quick sci fi short story done. Then I can get back to the sci-fi novel and then back to the fantasy novel. #amwriting but not very effectively.

After too long a hiatus, I finally got back to working on my sci fi novel again. Maybe it's sci fi horror. It's about a haunted/cursed spaceship. #amwriting

Why have all men's clothing and boots become "tactical?" I'm just running errands. I'm not on a night op through a sniper infested forest.

#writingcommunity how do you feel about short story publishers that don't reply in the case of rejection? I personally avoid submitting to them.

Had to travel for work, and was a bit apprehensive with all the aircraft incidents as of late. It's still safer than travel by car though. And to emphasize that, my flight landed safely and then I was blocked from my shuttle bus by a car catching fire.

The bad: while I was testing a new notification system, a bunch of emails were dispatched to users who did not expect them.

The good: The notification system works.

The extra good: The notification emails did not contain US combat operation plans.

Got a few pages written in the latest sci-fi WIP. A steady stream of #scifi reading might keep me focused on it and prevent me from drifting back to the #fantasy WIP. No guarantees though.

I spend a lot of my day trying to assure #cats and #dogs that they do not need to get up just because I did.

Just got my first acceptance of the year! #writingcommunity

Short story authors - What is the highest number of rejections one of your stories racked up before getting accepted? Mine is 19. #writingcommunity

I'm stuck on my latest short story. It's blocking me from getting back to work on the two novels that won't sell. #writingcommunity

The level of confusion in the Federal Gov has reached absurd levels.
Musk: "Respond to the email or be fired!
Every dept head: "Don't respond to that!"
Musk: "You better!"

Automated doors don't always open for me, and I often get in arguments with them about whether I exist or not.

I don't usually win these arguments.

Working on two novels at the same time is a bad idea, so I've started to write a short story to get my mind off it. #indecisive #amwriting #wip

Sometimes people will do outrageous things to see if they have the power to get away with them, and Elon now realizes he does.

I can't decide between working on a #Scifi novel and a #fantasy one, so I'm working on both, which is a terrible idea if I want to get either finished this year. #amwriting

Many of you have probably noticed that my efforts to get us back to the proper timeline have failed. I'm sorry. I will keep trying. In the meantime, stay safe, drink a comforting beverage, and try your best to be kind.

Hi to all my friends that are abandoning all other social media save this one. I'd visit in person, but there's snow everywhere.

The weeks leading up to Christmas are always the worst. It's dark, cold, and work is always trying to cram last minute projects in and half the folks you need are gone and the rest wish they were.

I've racked up a few short story rejections and not had much motivation to resubmit. Maybe I'll just start fresh in the new year.

Long ago, my first attempt at a novel went off the rails, so now I write out all the setting details, character descriptions, and outline everything before I even start to write the actual novel. But maybe I'm overpreparing? #writingcommunity
