Me, myself, and I live together very happily in the UK. A paternalistic soul aiming to pass forward the support and encouragement I received in my life, in awareness of the lightness of being one with all life.
I trust there are no holes in that deal 🤭

A big reason why I first began understanding what a universal basic income could do for people was the many mental illness support groups that i went to in NYC from 2006-2012. All any of us really needed was money to get back on our feet after we fell. it's not enabling, it's empowering.

It is indeed, and one we need to keep reminding ourselves of, and practicing, in the face of the challenges we’ll be facing in the future.

True. We’re humans serving the needs of other humans, in exchange for having our own needs served, and need to feel pride in our work. Sadly that’s been forgotten, for the most part, in this soulless money-serving world. We need to feel valued and appreciated or we lose our motivation.

Thank you for kindly gift-sharing this excellent thought-provoking article. We do need to talk more about this and accept mortality with more grace.

Slowing down and scaling down is the only practical way to do it. Sorrowfully, that’s seen as a frightening prospect by so many.
