Pretty much. For one year officially. But Bukele can find any reason (or none) to extend their detention.

They can rule anything, or nothing. The problem is they have no enforcement mechanism. And no jurisdiction in El Salvador, which wants them money from the US Government for holding them.

Cool. But he has no way to do anything about it. It's not like 🍊's own justice department is going to go after him, even if they could, which apparently they can't for "official acts".

Poor little guy. I hope his hair comes back eventually.
