Distribution a worry so far and watching clips pre-signing him seemed to suggest that his positioning and weight distribution could be an issue. Record seems decent though. We've not seen him make big saves yet but hopefully keeping them for the tight games. No point wasting them on a 5-0 thumping!

Not sure I understand this. It appears that PSXG gives either a one in sixteen chance (fbref) or a one in five chance (statsb) that both shots lead to goals. Why is that vindication of Perri?

I agree. Was just saying it would really help if we could loan him to a team that would get the best from him. Guess that is always true though!

Maybe I am being too pessimistic but I still think his appeal will be limited so we either keep him or eat a chunk of his wages. Our priority should be get him a move to a club where he can be a success, even if they offer a smaller cut of his salary. It would really help if he had value in a year!

When I say 'squad player' I am not saying he couldn't be a starter for a bottom half PL team, just that he would always be under threat of being benched

I can't say I watched Everton last season but I don't get the impression he did anything to raise him above the status of bottom half squad player

Not a lot for a top team but doubt many top teams would look at him. Surely it is a high wage for a squad player on a bottom half team?

Gotta decide if it's better to spend £4m on Jack playing for us this season or spend a couple of million on him playing for somebody else? A successful subsidised loan might improve the chances we can shift him in a year but seems unlikely (obviously sitting on our bench definitely won't help this)
