Football history and culture, especially Tottenham Hotspur where I am a proud season ticket holder.
Fantastic, thanks for putting this up. I would certainly have bought this at the time as I did every week. 3rd March was the date of my tenth birthday and also the day Tottenham won the League Cup by beating Norwich 1-0 at Wembley.

The shirt I would choose, if available and money was no object, would be Danny Blanchflower’s from the Double clinching 1961 FA Cup Final. The captain’s shirt from the greatest day in the history of our wonderful club (even if Bill Nicholson was not happy with the performance that day).

But she hasn’t single handily ended six wars.

Sounds like some lines from the ‘Twelve days of Tottenham.’ Nice article on Levy’s departure in @wsc.co.uk BTW Adam.

I wonder if this means that any major investment, and certainly a sale, are much less likely in the foreseeable future?

We were in phase 1, logged on as soon as the window opened and grabbed what were literally the only pair of seats together in the South Stand. Apparently renewal rate was very high.

A great listen and what a fine book that is.

Enjoyed that, some great background on Mickey’s formative years.

Just finished watching it. Excellent and beautifully filmed.

Sadly, if some reports are to be believed, we might get to sing something nearly or equally as bad.

Currently have the Kindle version but I really like the different cover. Will definitely be getting a copy.

Generally good news, better than expected. I don’t like the change to Ticket Share though as I have shared a ticket with friends who may only wish to go once or twice a season. Obviously we know what the motive is and also, why is the actual number of senior concessions such a big secret?

Beautifully written Alexandra. As a Tottenham fan we went through similar emotions eight years ago. Nostalgic and exciting at the same time. A bit different though as the new ground is, give or take a few yards, on the same site as the old WHL.

Just to point out, in Hunter Davies’ column it incorrectly says that Manchester United were relegated in 1975, it was actually 1974. Tottenham being relegated in 1977 is sadly correct.
