What I caught here is that it is better for the librarians. whether you know the duey-decimal system or not, to leave the books on the table. Libraries are often subsidized relative to utilization. By leaving the books on the table, they can claim higher utilization. Help fund them, utilize them.

I seriously dislike its presence. It makes the news feel like a commercial enterprise, which adds to the mistrust of mainstream news.

Are you saying cleaning up after myself actually is a disservice? I wouldn't have thought of that.

With his complicitness in these murders, Trump has now violated all 10 commandments!

I got my Shingles, Hep A and Hep B, all in short succession with nothing more than muscle tenderness.

I don't know where they get their numbers. I live on a fixed income, I have to budget tight my costs. 2025 had an 18% increase in my grocery bill between Jan and Dec.

While the repulsive White Supremacy is typically the undertone the white culture advocates seem to be seeking.

It urks me when people suggest you have to be a person of color to have a worthy culture. I'm not devoid of culture just because my ancestors behaved criminally against people of color.

Pretty much everybody is believed to be a good person just before they do something wrong. None of us were born criminals. Any of us are capable of making our first very wrong decision at any age.

This is going to resolve to legalized assassination under the 2001 AUMF.

This turns into a charge on friends and families that seek to give incarcerated loved ones a humane existence.

There was no "Kill all" order, just a kill everyone on board, because they're targeted killings, 2001 AUMF.

I'm confused. Was it because they were targeted or was it because they still had drugs on the sinking boat.

He's fund raising. It gives him sound bites and another opportunity to sue the media.

I find the right's position that sinking the remnants of drugs is more important than human life to be quite disturbing.

cold indifference are the qualities of evil. It brings shame to our military.

war or no war. IHL makes it (an act of) war crime.

The fact that later survivors have been repatriated says the argument of 'they might return to the fight' is a disingenuous argument. And that later strikes actually had a 'what do we do with survivors' component.

The only way you can okay with this is to be okay with suspending due process and collateral damage. The military kills innocent as part of a calculation. One of the reasons it requires congress to commit acts of war.

Without this declaration it's all murder, so Hell No!! I want no part of murder.

The thought that the shipwrecked were doing anything other than ask for rescue reminded me of Stevie Smith...

Nobody heard him, the dead man,
But still he lay moaning:
I was much further out than you thought
And not waving but drowning.
December 6, 2025 at 4:45 PM
I find this incredibly upsetting. Adm. Bradley said to congress the craft was shipwrecked. IHL declare survivors of a shipwreck are INSTANTLY granted protected status.

Knowing truth but hiding behind plausible deniability is a dishonorable act.

It's ok to be racist so long as you are clearly being partisan. You can claim the racism is coincidental, not intentional.

The question it leaves me with is how do we get clearly partisan decisions by the Supreme Court corrected...
