Crows know that despite eagles and many hawks being bigger and more powerful, they are also slower and less maneuverable. I wonder if they sometimes just harass them for sport. I got this photo while visiting friends on Vashon Island, Washington. Dive bombing!

When I heard Nick Lowe was going to be at the Tractor Tavern the tickets were already sold out. An ad for Stub Hub just showed up in my FB feed. I guess $682 a ticket is okay... not. Sad I've never seen Mr. Lowe, and my odds of doing so aren't going to increase as time go by.

Saw a couple of polar bears at Owen Beach. There were more but they were on shore.
