Though I’m not a big anime fan, I appreciate you considering how to represent it in ERB. I agree with some comments that Death Note would be a great choice. I watched it in high school and really enjoyed it. Even for those not into anime, I’d definitely recommend it.

That battle was great. Historical battles for me are the most engaging ones. Not that I'm against fictional characters, but I just find real historical figures more compelling since their legacies and accomplishments add more weight to the disses.

Including someone like Nobunaga would diversify and explore culturally rich history often underpresented in Western media.

I hope I’m not too late, but would you consider a Japanese figure like Oda Nobunaga? I don’t think you’ve featured one yet. I know you guys like Thatcher vs Bismarck, but Nobunaga fits Bismarck better in my opinion as both unified their countries, and not being just 'Iron' conservative leaders.
