Gently gliding into my geriatric era and happy to have made it this far when so many before me haven’t. I’ve currently been interested in foraging, community building, ceramics, and sewing.
When we moved in 2020 we knew that we were about to be political pioneers for progressive Democrats when we passed a billboard of Republican propaganda with a picture of Portland riots and a tagline of “don’t let this happen to Montana”. The interesting thing is we met so many others just like us.

My first thought was it’s trying to prop up Tesla. My second thought was that’s not going to work, even if I know folks that are ready to buy Tesla shares because they think it will rebound.

It appears contentment, trust, and security is the path to happiness. That’s understandable why the U.S. is unhappy and the adage that “unhappy people hurt people” perpetuates unhappiness.

<that’s me at the drag brunch Pride kickoff with bottomless mimosas. The hardest part of aging is that no one seems to be interested in what I have to say about anything. So I let them prattle on ad nauseam and nod politely.
For myself, curiosity is what gets me out of bed, so I find it.

It’s a start. Personally I use more specific targets for boycotting that have a greater impact. Canceled Amazon, won’t vacation in Florida or Idaho and I support small businesses that also support my politics. I use cash for small purchases. This isn’t about virtue signaling, but doing my small part
