Oh Yipee! Finally, energy prices collapse, and we can have all the free nuclear energy we could possibly want. Shame it all comes in a blinding white flash. Oh well, mustn't grumble.

We used to have a choice: buy goods cheaply from China or buy more expensive domestic products. Some still paid the extra to avoid supporting an authoritarian, totalitarian regime.

tRump just leveled the playing field.

@richarddelacour.bsky.social Thanks for three like. No one seems to be listening. It looks increasingly likely that tRump will make a move on Greenland. This will also give Putin the green light for his expansionist ambitions.

How does Putin invade a NATO country without risking global war or Russian troops?

He gets a NATO friend to do it for him.

Reading/Watching the news is now link drinking poison. It's devastating what is happening and how people are excusing or backing the behaviour of Putin, Orban, Netanyahu, Erdogan and of course tRump.

It's an unfortunate reality that four years of tRump is likely to cause longer lasting damage to Europe than it is to America.

In 4 years Americans can vote tRump out.

In 4 years Europe might not be able to run Putin out of Europe.

Regime Change interventions-
America: 70+
Russia: 50+

Can you think of two countries more desperately in need of regime change?

Isn't it ironic? Don't you think?

By not mentioning Brexit, our side lets the other side control the agenda and the message. That’s not the way to win.

Community Notes - aka Plebiscite Policing.
I know how this works and have watched it in various guises and situations. It is the death of free speech. It's the catalyst of tyranny, it's a uniform and badge to be proudly worn by every self-appointed little Hitler with too much time on their hands.
