WYGIWYG

I automate things. Then I automate things that automate things. Eventually, I forget the things I automated, start to automate them again, only to find the fully working code that already does the work.

I like SciFi and have bad taste in authors
Remind me not to play hide and seek with you....

And me without my master Poké Ball... Every damn time...

I mean, nowadays you're probably in a window or you have a cell phone. But I can tell you firsthand this is a serious effing problem in the '90s.

That's not preventing IP theft. That's tracking what you're into for big brother.

There's a wacky-ass steam game in there somewhere

This is 100% true, but I'll take it. Whatever in the hell it takes to get everybody engaged to get out of unprecedented times, I'm a fan.

How about if it's coming more from a desire than a type of classification. Because I see a few people in the news and the desire is there... /s

Between that episode and the one where Gibbs shot the monitor to stop the hacking, I loved the characters, Loved some of the story, But it was just too bad to survive.

This 1984 sequel sucks

Technically, it wouldn't slow me down that much. I don't have any current books to do a lookup on strange things that would have to change. My biggest limiting factor is nothing I work on is in my house.
March 25, 2025 at 11:03 PM
Nah, no debate, your stuff is fantastic. You deserve to be on a list with the greats and you will continue to be.

Okay, I need to find all the clippy animations I want to tie it into my own LLM now.
March 23, 2025 at 12:30 AM
IMO, mic probs aren't OS based. It's usually the meeting client using the wrong mic. I STFG Slack has code to figure out which mic has no audio and uses it. Even in windows, it's electron and will just use your browser. If that app is muted you'll never know. There's no tab to show you mute.

This 1984 sequel really sucks.
March 23, 2025 at 12:03 AM
Okay, this is pretty cute. Now let's make one with an integrated printer and a 5x7 scanner you can either put it at Grandma's house or use it around Christmas

I love the bow it's genius

There's no way to delete. It would be ~ like asking a brain surgeon to remove a memory from your brain.

You catch it and block it at the output or wipe the entire model and retrain an entire new one.

$200m in training for a case that will settle for a couple of million for slander.
