Expansion with Magnify for #3DThursday this week!

This mouse brain tissue was imaged using Magnify Biosciences, Inc. expansion microscopy — a simple, low-cost way to achieve nanoscale resolution with a standard confocal.

it was great to present syGlass, Inc at CACIE, part of the largest international educational conference in China, with Kenan Sener, Ed.D.

Very grateful for CAEIE for hosting me for this week in Beijing. ❤️ lnkd.in/g8KQMa8x

I am incredibly honored to represent the NCSSS at the China-US STEM and AI Education Seminar.

Fantastic to share our work at syGlass on the forefront of immersive science, education, and #AI. I look forward to working with our Chinese allies in connecting students and scientists around the world.

Throwback from 2023:

People are always asking me, "how hard is it to learn to use syGlass?"

This student is a great example -- 10 seconds in the headset and he's ready to explore. That's because interacting with 3D objects is the same in real life and in VR: reach out and grab it!

Congratulations to the @erturklab.bsky.social lab for another big paper on nanoparticles, with some nice manual ground-truth segmentation created in syGlass.

Some pretty nice movies in supplemental materials, too! (Video speed set to 2X to accommodate Bluesky's 1 min limit)

Hi Igor, I appreciate your scientific skepticism. If you've annotated in 2D, you know how boring and slow it can be. Annotating in VR and 3D is way faster. Check out this old clip as an example of how fast you can go in syGlass.

Very happy to announce our winter release of syGlass: 2.2.0!
Now control syGlass with your voice. We've also upgraded the auto-segmentation, mask handling & proofreading, and the narration system. We've added basic support for @zarr.dev. Check out the changelog: www.syglass.io/blog/announc...

Happy #3DThursday everyone!

#Drosophila lovers -- check out this beautiful #microCT scan of the adult Drosophila, imaged by Dr. Todd Schoborg at UWYO! I've shown this data to hundreds of people, and most don't know what these structures are... do you?
