Hard to say for certain…

Same thing with Jay Scott Pike’s story “the Jap Trap” (Battle #62, Feb 1959) which looks like a reskinned Combat Casey inventory story. What’s odd is these issues of Battle had inventory stories of Combats Kelly & Casey without changing the feature.

It seems to me Dave Berg’s story “Eyes in the Night” (Battle #61, Dec 1958) must have been a Combat Kelly inventory story leftover from the Atlas implosion. It looks to me like Kelly and his sidekick Cookie had their names changed and faces slightly redrawn.
