Currently, he's helping his parents tend of the sanctuary, while sometimes visiting other states and countries, both to learn more and gain experience and to also be his father representative at meetings he cannot go to.

In fact, it was the shake he needed to see the world with a new eyes, away from the infantilized view of the wild and leaning towards a more respectful and professional view.

The animal got agitated and attacked the boy, hitting and blinding his left eye, as well as leaving a huge scar on his face. Yet, he didn't let this accident affect his love for wildlife.

Michael comes from a renowned family of Biologists and Veterinarians for Exotic Animals. Has been helping his family since he was 8 years old. During a rescue, when he was 13, he was supposed to help his father transport an injured giant anteater.
