I saw #Air in concert tonight in #sf at the #masonic!!!! It was transcendental. So incredible. I have loved their music profoundly since my early twenties. I can’t believe that I finally saw them.

Protect the trans community’s right to vote! “H.R.22 would require all Americans to provide documentation of their citizenship, in person, when registering to vote or updating… for many trans people, might not reflect the name that they use.”

Started reading this gem by @charliejane.bsky.social tonight. I am so happy that I found it now. I already feel inspired, encouraged and moved. I cried, just a bit, for “found family”.

“Visualizing a happier, more just world is a direct assault on the forces that are trying to break your heart.”

Reading “Who’s Afraid of Gender” by Judith Butler, published last year. It’s very good and extremely timely. Very important reading for thinking through the anti-trans fascist govt that has taken over the US, but also for the global context.

My t4t sci-fi novel Atoms Never Touch describes a fascist like Trump in all but name coming to power w/immigration raids, and attacks on queer and trans people. It also describes how we fight back and how some flee to other countries and how we can imagine our way into other realities. @akpress.org
