It's safe to say that we won't have our own house. We won't make enough to afford to give our kids all that they need. We won't be able to keep them, or ourselves, safe. We won't be able to retire. The life we were promised if we worked hard and did things the "right way" is dead. We've gotta mourn.

I wonder what day the American dream died for us Millenials? I know that it died a slow death, and it didn't all happen in one day, but we need to pick a day to mark its death. Maybe that will help us mourn it. We can hold a vigil for it where we think back to all the hope this dream gave us.
