I wonder what this looks like for the US.

The change in solar since 2020 is insane. And extremely encouraging.

In 2020 wind and solar were essentially the same? Why did wind not do the same explosion? I assume bc solar costs are continuing to drop quickly?

Now- in 5 years we need to see gas and coal decline. A lot. Will it happen?

I have one of those. The other is smart and grumpy. :)
December 22, 2025 at 7:19 PM
But, you are correct. Very concerning.

Except for one. I was not on the committee. I was a postdoc at the time. The candidate made up data. Everyone knew it. They still passed. The most uncomfortable defense I have ever sat in on.
December 22, 2025 at 2:29 AM
Shouldn’t it be as simple as the committee asking questions? Every dissertation committee I have been on leads to a long, fascinating discussion because the candidate did novel work and could talk about it forever and receive any question from the audience with ease. They are the expert.

You are a bad ass. I am sorry shit has been so hard.

Different issue. I am having a fluid mechanics issue that I cannot visualize related to dive medicine. 😜

Is saturated N2 in serum/blood a fluid that exerts pressure. Particularly in the context of saturating into bone.

I need your brain.

Which was worse: Pinto or Corvair? My dad, post divorce from mom, had a Corvair. Was this somehow a flex with the ladies??

In Colorado- as a 7 year old I knew it was dangerous as shit in the snow.

But- explosions are pretty bad.

Gotcha. You know math. Baking + math is kinda attractive. But I am a weird nerd. And a tad buzzed after a bluegrass evening. 😬

I believe you. 😃

Does Jack Smith know who Trump gave the documents to? Or intended on giving documents to?

That was done when he was out of office.
December 19, 2025 at 9:28 PM
Ah. Ok. I trust you. 😜
December 19, 2025 at 7:02 PM
How much dough did you eat? Could you possibly have had 100 cookies? 🤔

My favorite brew pub- I have been frequenting for decade+ (always spectacular bar tenders) had a system like that. But, they expanded the bar. Now everything is printed, and I am fine with that.

If they had put it on a TV screen, these screens would have been mysteriously disintegrated regularly. 😜
December 19, 2025 at 1:17 AM
Beyond gross.
December 18, 2025 at 9:50 PM
Ya. And a brew pub only having their beers on a TV screen, particularly if the screen is rotating through the menus, is also punishable by ☠️

I want to hold a menu. Yes, I am old. And talk louder. 😜

Historians, over centuries, will have sooo much fun with this time in history and this delicate boy with way too much power. Insane.

I think we have become a society where the privileged have isolated themselves so much that they are truly disconnected from reality.
December 15, 2025 at 8:28 PM
It is like they don’t live in the real world. I am sorry :/
December 14, 2025 at 8:47 PM
You are awesome. I wish I could help more.

In another time/universe we would have been the most spectacular nerdiest friends. 😍
December 14, 2025 at 4:54 AM
No idea what this means, but I hope you are enjoying the movie.
December 13, 2025 at 3:32 AM
A slow rebellion. Hopefully it picks up steam.
December 13, 2025 at 3:28 AM
How often do they argue with rather than listen?
December 11, 2025 at 8:15 PM
6/42 = 14%.

A 6% absolute decline starting at 42%, is relatively much bigger than starting at 55%, for example.
