I use the pro version primarily for photo touch up, 2D design work, lightweight vector stuff … any digital “painting” I usually use Procreate

Yeah I think getting into Pixelmator Pro was the turning point for me; I was like, this is not only as good as Photoshop, but in some ways, it’s significantly better (and just a better UX / citizen of Mac OS) … Affinity Designer is awesome too
