I am the person who sent this in. Thanks for answering! I was concerned the first time my wife made this, but after some research I found that if the can remains submerged the chance of it popping are low. we have done it many times and have seen no signs of expansion.

I had this exact use case in a web component this week. Trying to make an international phone number element with country code selector. I wanted the flag in the select and list the country name when it was open. Had to do it with a button and div not ideal for accessibility.

Yes this is not only ok but how web components are designed. Slots for content and nested components are great.

I have lived outside of America for nearly 15 years and use the metric system primarily… but Fahrenheit is just better for weather and air temperature. I just can’t get my brain to think in Celsius.

My use case for this is in a both CRM and messaging app. I can’t use push notifications without the app being installed, but users don’t know how to “Install to Home Screen” we spend a ton of time walking people through it manually. An install button on the page that “just worked” would be a UX win
