Just finished Ann Leckie's TRANSLATION STATE somehow in spite of having children. Loved the characters. I can't get enough of this setting. The presger are so bloody and terrifying and weird. A lot like my toddlers! Loved to see the return of the sentient ship AIs too. So much cool stuff.
