There are a bunch of Chatbot ads in which people get instructions on how to accomplish "simple" goals.

This is the surrender of human agency and responsibility to an unreliable and unaccountable automaton.

The robot apocalypse is sold a matter of convenience.

End users (and endpoints) don’t care where the response comes from. What they do care about is low interaction response times (of which transmission latency is just one component).
