B/W 2019 & 2024 researchers calculated, states with spikes in electricity demand saw lower prices overall. They found the biggest factors behind rising rates were the cost of poles, wires & other electrical equipment – as well as the cost of safeguarding that infrastructure against future disasters.

Globally, only about 9% of plastic ever gets recycled, and e-waste is piling up faster than any other kind of garbage. The best way to limit waste is to create less of it in the first place.

Then comes reduce, which is all about buying less stuff. Next, reuse & repurpose/repair extend the life of what you already have.
Why are these extra steps so important? Because what we're doing isn't working. We've all been taught that recycling is the solution, but truth is, the system is broken.

Think of it as a hierarchy. The first R, refuse, is the most powerful. It's about not buying something new in the first place, like saying "no thanks" to a freebie at a conference or skipping that fast-fashion trend.

I’m so in love with the humanity that is here with me. In my little bubble away from the rest of the world that is Starving people intentionally and knowingly. If I could load a plane with food and fly it to the Palestinian Gaza area, I totally would.
