thank u for the mention, also i’ll say there’s a small chance i start streaming soon but have to figure out passthrough stuff and whether it’s worth it, at the very least will have some low-effort YT vids tho 😭

nothing will for the people who weren’t apart of it unless their schedule just doesn’t allow for it, which not too many seem to be in that category where they would *actually* want to play the game as well so idk
November 12, 2025 at 6:12 PM
once NAL is over it’s genuinely cooked cuz there’s only a few teams actually scrimming rn you can hit up, sure with the end of that “they can go team up with others to create new groups” but if NAL wasn’t enough of an incentive for ppl to already be in groups like this wanting good practice than
November 12, 2025 at 6:12 PM
worth it for *anyone* to look for scrims outside of that cuz they know they won’t find or it won’t be serious cuz no one actually wants to play the video game
November 12, 2025 at 6:09 PM
like i’m dead serious in saying you could be the most “renowned” person in +3 and ping for a scrim the whole day and there’s a good chance you’ll still get nobody cuz no one actually wants to practice like that. sure there are people out there with their scrim partners but it’s telling when it’s not
November 12, 2025 at 6:09 PM
frankly, not play well, everyone flocks to it. 8s as a concept has always been good but barely anyone actually uses it for real practice, and since that’s productive and fun to me i just leave if the lobbies aren’t like that and everyone suddenly gets angry or confused about that
November 12, 2025 at 6:05 PM
especially seriously. no one actually cares about the practice but they instead just wanna hop in a fun pb that is 1% less casual than usual. so when you make a server that does exactly that and is exclusionary enough that you can mostly guarantee it’s only “good” players that are in your lobbies to
November 12, 2025 at 6:05 PM
agree, i also think k a lot of it is an obsession with 8s the community has for no reason where they don’t even care about the improvement part of it much, it’s like the difference between youtube videos and short form tiktoks to them. no one ever asks for 8s in +3 but also no one ever scrims,
November 12, 2025 at 6:05 PM
plus % is probably extremely low (ik it’s not the best factor but about 90% of voted plus is accurate imo), so who is in T1 and who isn’t doesn’t actually depend on much
November 12, 2025 at 5:48 PM
some people have a ton of results but are getting told to wait longer and others placed good in 1 tourney cuz they just had a great run or opponents couldn’t deal with their strategy this one time and they get put in even though i know they’d struggle with most of the lobbies and this is why their
November 12, 2025 at 5:48 PM
it definitely does seem extremely biased and this is why i tried using a lot of text to explain my situation in that request because surely they just don’t see me as good if they’re giving me T2 just to put that out there. also looking at a lot of the requests they really don’t care about results
November 12, 2025 at 5:48 PM
?? idk if you worded this wrong but i’ve literally had an update request up for a few days now, i’m like one of the few voted +3s that wasn’t put in it and have been working to hold my own vs +2/occasionally +1 recently (i am not there yet ofc but working on it) so yea of course i think so
November 12, 2025 at 5:25 PM
you’re at the level you are/what can be exploited about your opponents. i just think when you bunch ppl 3-4 divs apart to play all the time without restriction it gets to a point that consistent good practice for both sides is really hard
November 12, 2025 at 5:23 PM
tbh fair i did kinda put too much stress on the fact i think scrimming your level is still good, personally from scrimming up recently i’ve also learned a lot but i guess for me it just doesn’t help against levels lower than them as much but it is a different perspective that helps understand why
November 12, 2025 at 5:23 PM
that want to practice up when in reality the other side of the coin is there’s D1 players that now average 4 D4s in each lobby and they can’t get much practice themselves, then start trolling/stop playing instead
November 12, 2025 at 7:00 AM
the higher level rather than brought into it right away (hence why people who are “plus level” but are in the bottom 10% of it don’t get voted in). ofc there’s problems with voting and vouching and everything but overall it’s hard to make a better system that doesn’t just cater only to the people
November 12, 2025 at 7:00 AM
plays with them than dips down to T2 cuz the likelihood that you can’t get a full lobby with TX is high (it already was before). i think the community needs to be less strict with who they practice with but people less proven or thought of as weaker should be given a gradual process to play against
November 12, 2025 at 7:00 AM
an equal playing field helps you learn that too. also practicing up means relying on the people above to wanna play with you which YES we are too strict about but it’s still a consideration. also with Tier X being the top (they can’t practice up) and smaller before then it’s just more likely that T1
November 12, 2025 at 7:00 AM
i can understand most of this but i also don’t understand the general community opinion to the degree most people have it. practicing up is good but shouldn’t be a thing to do even like 25% of the total time imo cuz there’s reasons those players can’t confidentially beat their own level yet and

honorable mentions for 1st, 3rd, and 5th most immature into +3
