I heard something about yesterday being "bad comic day" or something, and wanted to make my own for fun!

Turns out, "bad comic" is just a writing prompt to get over the perfectionism block so you can get yourself to just make a silly little comic.

That's Beans!
"That's Beans!" is the name of the shown TTRPG set, which uses brown and orange alcohol ink as well as some mica powder to have the appearance of beans in a can. This imagery is aided by the fact that there are very real beans inside of each die! The numbers are painted a gamboge yellow. All of my dice sets I've been preparing for the convention have a tag to go with them. On the back of the "That's Beans!" tag, it states: "Six and a half hours of work, plus 32 hours curing, + REAL beans, to make"

Four vibrant blue and pink d6s with white pips. They look like candy, but you shouldn't eat them! A pair of d6s. They are the same design, but the one on the left is flipped to the one-face to show off a red glittering like a smoldering fire, and the one on the right is upright and shows off some purple reflective glitter under the surface. Four pairs of MTG counters as d6s. The left pair is blue and green; the second-to-left pair is dark blue; the third pair is a dark grey with the slightest hint of purple; and the right-most pair is blue and turquoise with some foil inside. All of them are matte and have their numbers and slashes painted white Two pairs of MTG counters as d6s. The front pair is red and faded green, and kinda looks like watermelon candy, and the back pair is pink and kinda cream coloured and looks like cotton candy colours. The watermelon pair has numbers painted white, and the cotton candy pair has numbers painted a dark violet. Neither set has its slashes painted

A set of 6d6 inspired by Minecraft's grass block. The pips are painted diamond blue! A full TTRPG set that is a shimmering mix of purple and green. The numbers are painted a light emerald green.

A set of unfinished 6d6. They have an extremely outer space vibe to them; they're a mix of dark with multi-coloured glitter to represent space, and orange mist surrounding a big orange ball to represent a sun.

Back when I was just learning how to make dice and before I had my own masters commissioned, I used old dice I had laying around to make stuff. Here's a set I made a couple years ago for my grandmother!

Set name: Cozy Candlelight
A set of 6d6, with rounded edges instead of sharp. They are a mix of red and white, with the numbers painted a brighter white to stand out. The colours are somewhat pastel, with flecks of more vibrant colour spread throughout

it never ceases to both please and amaze me just how much people love the idea of jeans dice. I am so happy that I scrapped my original idea of "denim scraps in dice" and went all-out, instead. they look so good, and I'm so proud of that.

here's a commission of 6j20 I finished recently!
A set of 6j20 (six twenty-sided jeans dice). The denim texture is clearly visible (if wet in some spots) under the surface of the jice, and the numbers are painted gold.

Canada Post is on strike, and I wish all of the workers a very "get what you want from it and no less" 🤝

My buyers have been very understanding; I'll ship things once I'm able!

In the meantime, here's one of the commissions I finished yesterday! I have more, but I'll post them daily ☺️
A set of four Fate dice. They sparkle brilliantly, and are a mix of a sea blue and an electric turquoise. The Fate markings are painted white. They're laid out on a blanket for better camera lighting (mobile cameras suck)

wanted to post some dice today, so here's a couple pics of a dump pour! these have since been shelled, so they have their numbered pips, but they're in my pile of "finish later" dice so they haven't yet been sanded/polished/painted

yes, but I'm behind. so very behind. life stuff got very in the way for *months* 😅

one of the two commissions I've been behind on most is a set of six j20s. so, I've been making other jice sets alongside them, and they're all nearing completion!

alright, I'm back on bluesky again, but I'm going to try to be more careful not to burn out 💪

for now, here's one (1) dice pic: it's a set in progress, after splattering paint and before recasting them in a shell

(unfortunately one didn't cure properly so there's only five of them now)
Dark purple dice blanks (blanks are the shape of dice but smaller and without the numbers, to be put inside an outer shell that has the numbers) that have been splattered on all sides with pastel yellow paint. I'm working on making these so they're a giveaway (two sets of two) for Frame Fatales!

This set is called Inquisitor! It's got real blood in the snow vibes, and sort of makes me think of Dragon Age: Origins
