I think “performative” gets overused but unorganized yelling online boycotts sure do fit the description. If you’d focus on stuff like BDS targeted boycotts you’d be more effective. Screaming about stores all the time just makes it look impossible to do.

I kinda wish they had a bigger budget and more time to give detail to see what they could do but still a fantastic job.

And it makes sense because Vox Machina definitely came together coherently at the end, but it didn't have like a driving plot point the entire campaign very specifically and was more of a traditional D&D type party. Like it says a lot about what Matt prepped and how he pivoted (like Essek lmao)

Also it's kind of funny how dark and serious the tone of The Mighty Nein is compared to Vox Machina, because for me watching/listening to the originals I had the reverse vibes, but I think A LOT of that has to do with us now seeing the PLOT first rather than character vibing.
