On #TransgenderDayofRemembrance, we reflect on lives lost to acts of anti-transgender violence. The day is an opportunity to remember those who are no longer with us, while highlighting the ongoing struggles of trans individuals in light of hateful anti-LGBTQ+ policies and rhetoric.

On Oct. 21, COURAGE Team Research Associate Rosario Concha, PhD, presented on the Status of Women and Girls in Florida to the North Miami Commission for Women. She identified economic security, affordable housing, and violence against women in FL and MDC as the most urgent challenges facing women.
