100 counter protesters or less meet in front of the Oregon State Capitol, protesting Gov. Tina Kotek and the transportation package Oregon Democratic lawmakers passed recently in a special session.

We got lots of frog costumes and signs in Salem. The frog has become a symbol here in Oregon, representing peaceful protest after President Trump claimed Portland is burning down and war-ravaged.

Here at the No Kings protest in Salem. A group of veterans and other locals play a song, singing “This land is made for you and me.”

Here in Salem where there’s hundreds, if not thousands of Oregonians holding signs, wearing costumes and protesting against President Donald Trump.

The Oregon State Capitol rotunda is finally open! I’ve been a state government reporter for 5 months now and this is my first time seeing it since it’s been undergoing construction.
