Do it on YouTube too. For YouTube, clear watch history first. Add informative videos to their watch later list. If you are worried they will notice, then try to sub to some factual channels and unsub from bad ones. If they will notice that too then just hit "do not recommend" on problamatic videos.

Make sure when you follow pages or join groups that they don't have a lot of comments from far-right extremists and bots, so your family member won't stumble upon them. Make sure you go slow (a few pages a week or every few weeks), so it's not obvious. Do it in the reels tab, too. More below...

The normies in Alberta are mounting a revolt. Currently 14 sitting UCP MLA's are under recall petitions. We'll either pick them off one by one or force a snap election. Either way, we are prepared to take back control of our Province from the current regime.

We need all the help we can get to get Alberta out of facism, but I feel like so many people see what's happening in the USA and are scared to excerise their political rights. Which I understand, but we have to be the ones to get us out of this. We are stronger with more numbers.

It's scary to me because I see it all the time with my family and friends. They don't want to get involved even when they know what's at stake. They will say "one signature less won't matter." But imagine how many people are thinking that same thing when they refuse to sign things?

For a bit, our house was literally full of people just getting along and having fun conversations. And we are people who the news and social media say all should hate eachother. (Christian, Muslim, Jewish and "Bluesky user" lol)
The people with power hate eachother not the people with humanity.

That's what's so destructive about letting algorithms and the news tell you about people in the real world, without actually observing people in the real world. We can't let things, that are created to divide us, take our ability to see things from our own perspective.

There's a Jewish women who helps my gran with her laundry, and a Muslim women who is with homecare. Both are SUPER nice people. They happened to be here at the same time today & were both getting along and laughing with us. Fox news & algorithms like to make people think that is "impossible"
