Once they rounded them up, they can lock the gates so they can't leave, and scramble cell phone service so they can't call out. In come trucks with the back up security, the ones with big mouths and lots of teeth and four legs.

She's like the eye of the hurricane, always calm and on an even keel, while 175 mph winds are swirling just feet away from her. It is comforting to join her in that calm space to focus on facts and logic, however briefly, before returning to the tornadic chaos of daily events.

My thought is that when Kegbreath brought all the military top brass to DC, they all networked privately, probably mostly agreed they hate the new regime & will not go along with this shtshow. So he, or his puppeteers, are going to hit a brick wall when they try for the final takeover. crack.

Have you ever had the urge to grab your zip ties and walk the streets looking for them? What if they come for the library? Nothing is off the table at this point.

So sorry. Peace be with you and your family, and may your loved one rest in peace.

Maybe because the skateboarders were destroying it with their skateboards? And annoying the rest of the world with their kids toys and rude behavior? Just a guess.

Having just dropped off my mail-in ballot at an official drop off box (I don't trust the USPS) can I make a suggestion. Make the party labels bigger and easier to read. I'm old and my eyesight isn't what it used to be. I do research everyone I vote for, but I like to be sure I'm voting Democratic

This is so sobering to read. This story and others need to become our new pages of history for future generations. We march, we carry snarky signs and wear silly costumes, attach expletives to the names of those that caused this decimation. But your quiet testimony speaks louder than everything.

The fact that a vetting process even exists is mind boggling, beyond, "Can you tie the laces on your jack boots and are you utterly devoid of morality?" Open book test is to see if they know how to read, which, when you think about it, is not a requirement for this job. "Can you use a zip tie?"

Now Lego is going to be forced to create gaudy gold blocks to rebuild the East Wing, with tiny hamburger blocks to stick on the walls all over the WH and little soda cans to scatter around. And some hero figurines to march in and save the day. Please, Lego, some hero figurines. And new roses.

We need you more than ever right where you are, vetting facts, analyzing intentions, being our moral compass. You've got a good team around you that collectively has more bandwidth than we can muster to analyze what's going on and be our real intelligence source. Only if They allow you to.

I can't imagine anyone's blood boiling at a higher temperature now than yours. But you're always cool as a cucumber. We will never forget your tireless work on behalf of the country. If ever we needed "Stay Calm and Carry On" it is now. The memory of you and your wife in the WH is a steadying force.

too funny

You can't make this stuff up. He's so far ahead of us. I can see this etched into plaster above a fireplace in the White House for future generations to ponder. "This is the man who made us realize that dementia is a thing, a thing we need to take very seriously and treat with drugs. Swamp drugs."

What is that white beam coming out of his head? Maybe have RFKj take a look at that?

Always have your white cotton gloves at the ready to avoid touching the jewels directly.

Move fast and break things is always a good approach, no matter what the business venture. If there's entertainment value, all the better. What are those windows for anyway? Fire blankets are a thing. Every OR should have them to throw over the patient. Or the robot, since they're worth more.

I can't imagine the pain she went through, all her life. What a profound legacy to leave this powerful book to the world. I hope it makes a sea change. We have to stop this abuse, forever. We have to summon up the courage to read about it and talk about it and fight it.

In PA we're voting for three judges standing for retention (their second term). If we vote to retain, we have a solid Dem majority in the Supreme Court.
That's big. But it's hard to understand the system and the implications of voting for them. Plus, a rich Rep is paying for mailers full of lies.😡

Remember seeing something like this at Knobles Amusement Park years ago, so it's been around awhile. Obviously it hasn't really taken off. The reason I don't want to use one on fries and burgers is that hundreds of other dirty hands will have already touched it. Sam & Ella like to use 'em though.

Welcome to the Tighty Whitey House. The new name of the wing to replace the East Wing is the A---hole. Watch where you walk, some stuff fell out of the sky a few days ago. Kinda made a mess everywhere.
October 22, 2025 at 6:08 PM
Wut is right. Sometimes voting Dem gets you in just as much trouble as voting Rep. But when you only have two choices, you hold your nose and vote for the Dem. Still holding my nose. Still wondering what all the "progressives" see in him.
October 22, 2025 at 2:54 PM
Has anyone considered that the next Democratic president won't want to live in the White House now that it's been defaced with hamburgers and gaudy crap? Would anyone want to live there after he leaves, one way or another? We should look to building a new one to signify a new dawn for America.

Utterly heartbreaking. I just lost a brother to cancer a few months ago. I know how much he suffered at the end. The people in Ice and the people who give them permission to be so cruel are all vile.
