It's a form of Cyber bullying; here's how it works. They do it so often that you become tired and used to it and eventually give in to them. Surely it works, if it doesn't, they wouldn't continue to do it.

Haha, I work with Linux but I'm actually a Windows fanboy for sentimental reasons, despite all the trouble I've had with them (classic Stockholm syndrome).
Yeah, I'm aware of the Proton compatibility layer via Steam, sorta similar to Wine.
I've just been reluctant to fully make the switch 😅.
