We investigated triglyceride synthesis enzymes in the zebrafish. Counterintuitively, loss of Dgat2 activity leads to abnormal accumulation of lipid droplets in larvae, and we were amazed to find that dgat1a;dgat1b;dgat2 triple mutant fish are viable and healthy! doi.org/10.1016/j.jb...
