just got back from the Roman Galactic Exoplanet Survey Project Infrastructure Team meeting at Goddard, where we got to see some of the instrument in construction and testing!
one sixth scale model of the roman space telescope in front of the nasa logo and goddard spaceflight center sign. made it through my first week as a posdoc! the view from my new paper reading spot is pretty nice
the roof of campbell hall (on the 6th floor level). this view shows the sitting area with tables and chairs and a telescope dome the view toward the bay from campbell hall, overlooking much of the UC Berkeley campus, including a very tall clock tower and in the distance the san francisco bay. you can see the bridge between oakland and san francisco. the area where one can sometimes see the golden gate bridge is blocked by fog
