Last semester, I had a prof give us an extra 10% on our midterm b/c it was later being returned.
He told us that since he would dock us 10% if it was late, then it was fair to give us 10%

Surprisingly, he took it pretty well.....he didn't say a word, just got out of his truck, stabbed the balloon with a pocket knife and then brought the popped balloon inside and laid it on my desk.

I hate that every time we get hit with an 'atmospheric river' I spend a week playing "Where did this water come from?"

True story: I have a former co-worker who hated clowns because of Pennywise, so one day we tied a red balloon to the storm drain next to his assigned parking spot.
