In a filing to #ICJ, the gvt of France takes a strong stance against State hostage-taking of innocent private citizens, in particular @libertepourcecile.bsky.social. State-sponsored arbitrary detention cases are too frequent. Good to see France lead the way+fight back against a despicable practice.

Yesterday, the closing arguments in the Yekatom & Ngaïssona case ended. The pleadings were barely followed in the media, the public gallery was mostly empty, and the ICC's live feed was malfunctioning. What a sad state of affairs for the publicity of proceedings. #justice #CAR #ICC
