Bernie Sanders is a great American who wants the best for the American people. I wish he said the words below more often, because he clearly believes them:

Brilliant @nytopinion.nytimes.com piece by Kyla Scanlon, one of our best economic thinkers. The ultimate expression of neoliberalism is where the rich do all the gambling and everybody else takes on all the risk.

In one dismissive paragraph, Douthat exemplifies the right's embrace of authoritarianism. "Without much external consultation" and a "whiff of private-donor corruption" describe everything from ICE lawlessness to the most corrupt administration in American history.

Like it or hate, this single paragraph defines where Democrats have to move if they ever want to be relevant again. Contrary to the rage merchants, this is the America we actually live in, and it's not so bad.

Instructive to watch Seven Days in May, made 61 years ago. The president was the hero and not the traitor, but otherwise scarily prescient.
Especially when General Scott the traitor says, "This country's in a lot of trouble." And thinks that's a reason to overthrow democracy.

If you haven’t seen this film please find it. It’s on Prime and likely other platforms.
It will remind you there was a time when we had a common purpose and weren’t driven by hate. Pierce Brosnan is astonishing.

This is the importance @nytimes.com gives to stealing an election: tiny piece, way down the front page.
Folks need to wake up. Trump and the GOP would not be doing what they're doing if they thought the Democrats could ever be in power again and do the same to them.

I post about the coming AI bloodbath virtually every day, in virtually these exact words. People simply do not see or believe what's coming. And the CEO's somehow imagine we'll have a booming economy when 20% of the people who consume goods and services are unemployed.

He also explains why Harvard must resist this jihad:
