Small update on our #hibp style password checker: We are now at 9.91 billion password hashes (sha1 and ntml), and it's growing and growing. Only 1.3 billion (13%) of those are in HIBP.

Yearly reminder that #malware on #linux can just shutdown #clamav before downloading payload to avoid real-time detection, and #cisco does not think this is a problem.

Hmm, scheint so als wäre social.mpdl.mpg.de nun endgültig abgeschaltet worden. Viele sind bereits auf diese Instanz umgezogen und die Beiträge leben in unserem Cache weiter, trotzdem ist das schade. Ich finde, die #mpg verdient ein 'mpg.social'.

Tipp: https://live.gwdg.de/wall/ ist toll, aber wenn es einem nicht toll genug ist, kann man sich das so einstellen wie man möchte. Einfach oben auf die Info-Leiste klicken und später die URL bookmarken.
